St.Thomas was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus who came to India in 52.A.D.He bestowed the light of the gospel to the Indian and established a Christian community in India especially in Kerala which came to be known as Malankara Nazaranis. After his glorious missionary work in India, he received martyrdom in 72 A.D.and his body was interred in Mylapore. Our institution was dedicated and established in his holy name
